Hello my lovely peeps. I'm here with you today to share a little art journal that I made incorporating my "Strength in Numbers" collection. I am really enjoying my book making at the moment. I'm not sure what I'll put in this little one yet but it was so much fun to make.
I used an old book cover as the cover of the journal.
Then I sewed three signatures into the spine.
Each signature is made up of different pages, sizes and embellishments.
I also sewed on some extra tabs to help turn the pages with.
The process is very easy once you get every thing lined up. As long as you have a sewing machine and some patterned paper along with an old book you can make one.
I'm still not sure what I'll put into my book. i have a heap of photos from my trip to Paris where I met Olga, Tehri and Marta. maybe i can use this little book to create a memorable album of my trip.
I just love the way the papers sit against each other in each signature.
It's almost a shame to cover them with photos.
