Abstract Art journal Spread for 13Arts

Hello I'm here with you to share an art journal spread I have created using my latest designs "Conversations on Trains" for 13 Arts.

I love all things old .. vintage ... ephemera ... the lot! So when the conversation (on the train in London) came up between Aida, Olga and myself to make some ephemera sheets as a mini paper release .... my mind went into overdrive!!

I scanned all the amazing ephemera pieces I have collected over the years. I chose mostly the Australian stuff for this release because I wanted to show case the beautiful Aussie history through it's paper from the past.

 I have
old photos, old tickets, old dockets, old maps, old magazines, old books old you name it .... I've collected it and with the help of my very talented mate Olga we proceeded to create these A4 sheets for you guys to use in any creative way you desire.

I am an art journal addict myself but I am also very excited to try these designs out on a layout too.
Oh and how awesome would they be on cards! Not if i make them ... LOL no no no I am NOT a card maker but Marta or Olga or Dawid could make them so sweet!!!

No my style is layers ... of paint and mess until i can't possibly add any more. It works for me.

And my vintage paper range works perfectly in my abstract design mind! I feel a series coming on!!

Ettan a little 6x6 block

Here is a little wooden piece that I have adorned with my little man "Ettan"

I love the sentiment that goes with this set "Live like a grown up, Play like a child" I think we should all live by this rule!

I've used my "Arches and Peaks" background stamps to create a child like naive background with some pencil scribbling.
