Artist Gang Post Little Watercolor Forest

Hello! So I'm here with you today to share a little watercolor scene I have painted.

I love to paint with watercolors, I find it so relaxing. I love the way they mix with each other and I'm not too phased that I can't always control what I want them to do.

In fact, i like that they can be so random .. and do their own thing. It's the surprise that I like. Unlike acrylic paint that I can pretty much make do what ever I have in my head, watercolor is so much more free.

I have used one of Donna's stencils to create a little forest scene. It is called "Lilac Buds" but they also make great little trees.

I hope you enjoy the video and I'll see you all again soon.

I put these together to show you how versatile the 13@rts black stickers are.

You can use these stickers on pretty much anything. I've used them for titles on layouts, on cards and now as little titles on these ATC's.

I have used the gorgeous "Aria Story" collection. All the links are below.

Learning To Love Purple

Hello I'm here with you today and I have a little video to share of an art journal page I created.

I'm learning to love purple because for some unknown reason my brain keeps making me use it in my art!!!

I have never been a big fan of the colour but it just keeps creeping in to my creations. In all reality I think I am learning to like it.

And I paired it up with green and pink so it doesn't over power the piece. I tried something different this time in my journal too. I stamped first!

I mean I stamped in between too but I began the process with some background stamping. Anyway you can see it all in the video.

Here is a link

I am totally enjoying exploring with different colours and different stamping techniques in my art journal. I feel i'm really starting to develop a style. I hope you feel inspired to get your VLV stamps out and have a little play in your journal too xx

Artist Gang Tuesday for June

Hello my lovelies. Just dropping in quickly to share my Donna Downey Artist gang share for June.

I had an absolute blast with some of the Golden Fluid acrylics and the pink and red Fluorescent paints - "You can never have too much Fluoro Pink"

The video shows how the page came about and explores the use of some of Donna's signature stencils.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Cheers until next time xx
