A Journal Page for 7 Dots Studio "Listen To Your Art"

Hello! I'm here with you today to share a very colourful art journal page I have created inspired by the "Paint Chips" collection from 7 Dots Studio.

"Listen To Your Art"

I just love colour and I use as much of it in my art as I can possibly use. So when 7 Dots Studio released the latest "Paint Chips" collection I squealed with delight at all the colourful possibilities it could bring to my art.

After a gel press printing session I gathered up all my printed pieces of paper and started adding them to my page. I added ripped pieces of the 12x12 paper from the collection along with some of the die-cut elements.

I also added the PERFECT title "Listen to Your Art" which I found on the 6x12 Word Sticker Sheet included in this collection.

Finally I wanted to give it all a hit of black contrast and so I painted up some of the chipboard splat pieces and added them to the very top layer.

I love it! Every time I look at it, it makes me smile. I hope it has the same effect on you.

13Arts February Challenge

Hello!! Today I have a canvas I would like to share with you that I created inspired by the current February 13Arts challenge.
The combination of colours on this challenge board were something i had never tried in a painting before so I did a little bit of experimenting.

It was lots of fun mixing and combining many of the 13 arts mediums to get the desired colours to match the mood board.

i decided to work on a 12x12" stretched canvas and i found the paints glided across it effortlessly.

I'm really happy the way this turned out. I'm normally all about the bright colours and i actually really struggle to paint in blues and greens so this was good practice for me as well as a really good challenge.

Art Journal Page for 13@rts

Hello, today I am sharing an art journal page I have created to show case some of the new 13Arts collections.

This collection is "Until Dawn" and it is so mysterious and romantic in nature, I just love it. The colours are divine and the elements are very cool!

I had a lot of fun replicating the colours from the elements into my background. I love how the blue and purple work so well with the ochre - cafe colour.

I'm not a big fan of fussy cutting but it was definitely worth it for this frame and the skull. They were the perfect feature pieces for my page.

Video Tutorial for 7 Dots Studio Little Canvas

Hello! today I'm here with you today with a little canvas I have created using the gorgeous 7 Dots Studio collection "Paint Chips"

Here is the video for you.

I started with a small rectangle canvas and then added some colour to the background using the Droplets Stencil. I love how when I hold the stencil further away from the canvas I get a softer image.

layering all the Element stickers and the Die Cut Elements was so much fun.

I chose the perfect little sayings from the Word Stickers to finish it off.
