Strength in Numbers Art Journal Page

Hello I'm here with you today to share a little art journal page I have created incorporating my "Strength in Numbers" collection. from 13arts.


I have had so much fun exploring the different ways I can utilize this collection. I designed it to be versatile so it could be used for scrapbooking, art journalling or any other mixed media and paper craft your heart desires.


For this art journal page I have incorporated one of the images from the 12x12 paper "Synthesis". I enhanced it by adding some colour to the already coloured sections. 


I used some of the Shiny powders to make it shimmer. It's a bit hard to capture it in the camera.

And I added a title using the chipboard pieces. The background is coloured with some Ayeeda Acrylic paint over tissue paper to give it some texture.

A Mini Album for 7 Dots Studio


Hello! I'm here with you today to share a really fun and cute little mini book I have created for 7 Dots Studio to share some super silly photos I took in a photo booth with some friends at a retreat last year.



I just love going on retreats with my girls. We always get up to so much mischief. I'm not sure very much scrapping happens but we have plenty of laughs.




I used the gorgeous "Dreamscapes" collection designed by DeeDee Catron for this little mini book. I loved how the pinks and yellows in the collection tied in perfectly with the photo booth photos.



I also used some ephemera pieces to collage onto the background and added some coordinating colors for some interest.



I added some Die Cut Elements and some Sticker Elements to finish it all off. Then for the cover I added a tag from the 12x12 tag set and some cute little UM WOW Studio chipboard.


I just love this little treasure. It is so full of wonderful memories.

A tutorial for VLVS!

Hello today I'm here to show you how I created some collage paper by stamping directly onto the gel surface with the amazing VLVS! stamps.

I then used the collage sheets to make a little mini album.


I embellished the cover with some more stamping.

 And added some little Um WOW Studio chipboard dudes on as well.



I think i might add some pages into this little one and turn it into an art journal or a little sketch journal.

Artist Gang Tuesday - Vase on a Shelf, Art Journal Page

Today I'm here with you today to share an art journal page I have created for Donna Downey's Artist gang Tuesday.
I have used Donna's lovely stencil "les Fluers" and her signature stamp "Wild Poppy Silhouette".




I created the idea based around some old scrapbook paper I had lying around. I wouldn't use this paper in a million years and Donna always says "You have to just use it" so that's what I'm doing over the next few weeks ... or years .. yeah years, it will probably take years to get through the stuff I've collected!



The video shows you how I incorporated it into my journal and then used the stencil and stamp to create a feature piece.



I really love the outcome and now I even really love that patterned paper.
