Whimsical Art Doll for VLVS!

Hello! I'm here with you today to share a whimsical art doll I have created for VLVS!

I won't go into too many details about how I made this gorgeous little doll. I'll leave you to watch the tutorial.

I'm not sure why I made him ..... I suppose I don't really need a reason.

But I have definitely fallen in love with him ..... He is my Transgender fairy Queen!

The tutorial is right here below. Sit back and relax and enjoy the madness!

Mail Art Monday for VLVS!

Hello! Today I'm here to share a little bit of mail art I have made for Viva Las Vegastamps!

I don't know how ..... but I keep making purple things lately!! I don't even LIKE purple. maybe that's the thing ...... maybe the universe is secretly trying to train my brain to think purple is cool!!!

Well regardless of what I think ..... the mail art is purple ...ish. With a sprinkling of pink and yellow. It doesn't look THAT bad. Luckily the stamps are SO cool.

I popped a layer of gesso underneath so that the watercolours I used would give a cool effect on the paper that wasn't covered by the gesso. Then i sprinkled some pigment powders over the top and sprayed with water!! I love the final effect!

A Little "Birds A Field" For The Dusty Attic

Hello gorgeous people! Today I would like to share a little something I have created for The Dusty Attic using some chippy and their gorgeous Dusty Colour range.

These paints are so versatile. I am really enjoying exploring their capabilities. This time I've used them on some watercolour paper to create a soft watered down effect similar to watercolours.

I diluted the colours with water and applied them in a wildflower design and then of course to finish it all off just perfectly I added the little chipboard "Birds A Field" to give it some focus and depth. I simply painted them directly with the Soot Dusty Colour.

I hope I have given you some ideas and inspiration so you too can take the opportunity to explore your Dusty Attic supplies.

I'll see you all again next month x

Rhythm Of Your Heart

Hello beautiful peeps! Here is a little layout that I have created for 13@rts using the gorgeous "Aria Story" collection.

Every couple of weeks the 13@rts team will be showcasing something awesome from the range..... this week it's the "Aria Story" collection designed by our illustrious boss Aida!

The soft yellows in this collection just light up every layout I create. This time I've teamed it up with orange (the perfect marriage I think).

I created the background using some "Rainbow Colors" and then stenciled with the "Aria Song" stencil from the range.

A full list of the products I used with their links is below.

Kraft Plus March Challenge Denim Revolution

Well it's that time of the month again .... the start! and what does that mean?? New challenges!!

Kraft Plus has really hit the nail on the head this time with their "Denim Revolution" theme. boy was I looking forward to this one!!!

I made a simple little A4 using some denim heart I made my mum cut out for me while I created the background! (made with love!)

I was really drawn to the little denim heart on the mood board and just all the denim. It is one of my favourite textiles to wear and to create with!

I added some scribbles using some old blue carbon paper .... it is the perfect "denim" colour ... how cool is that?

And added a simple combination of words to make my kraft title.

So very cool and lots of fun to make especially seeing mum helped :)

There are NINE sponsors this month so if you don't give it a go you're nits!!!

Scrapki Wyzwaniowo March Challenge Numbers

Hello!! Well the first of the month means that a couple of my favourite challenges are live!! This one is for Scrapki-Wyzwnaiowo and the theme is NUMBERS!!!

I've used the numbers stencil from the "Writer's Block" collection to create some interest in the background of my project.

I had some of Dina's "Night" coloured paint left over on my palette and so that became my background colour which then dictated the rest of the projects colour scheme and low and behold it ended up PURPLE!!!

It worked perfectly with the left over Denim hearts I had laying on my desk!!!

The number "42" is the
