KRAFT PLUS July challenge

When you put my two favourite things together in a challenge, you make it really hard for me to resist!!!

I have no will power at the best of times!

This is exactly what my dear friend Sandra Wallace has done over on her challenge blog!!!

She put together - Yellow AND Paint!!!

Couldn't help myself!!!

So this is what I created.

"Mischief"

I used Scrappy Chat Designs latest kit "Favourite Little Something". The Kaisercraft "Cut and Paste" paper from the Scrap Yard Collection was perfect!

And here is the inspiration from Kraft Plus Challenges

I got to meet this lovely lady earlier this year at the E2C retreat in Port Lincoln. We have been team mates on the Scrappy Chat Designs kit club team for almost a year. Our antics over Face Book have been mischievous to say the least! So I saw this opportunity to highlight our crazy selves surrounded by yellow SUNSHINE!

I used the Kaisercraft paper from the kit to create my journalling and added part of the black and white paper straw.

 I cut hexagons out from some of the patterned paper in the kit.

 I used the Faber-Castell Texture Luxe Gold through a stencil. I love how this paste holds it's texture when it dries!

I also smeared some over the yellow paint I used to create my background and finished it all off with some black ink splats!

Here is a little squiz of the kit.

It comes with 5 and a half patterned papers from different ranges. A piece of Kraft and a piece of black card stock as well as some Faber Castell Texture Luxe in the Gold. Perfect for this challenge and some gorgeous flakes from Stampendous, two paper straws and some twine.
